The Dallas Brass Band is committed toward nurturing the next generation of brass and percussion musicians of North Texas by fostering a passion for excellence and a lifelong appreciation for the brass band tradition. After the successful concert with the Dallas Youth Brass Band High School and Middle School Ensembles at the Texas Brass Festival, the Dallas Youth Brass Band returns once more for a 5-day summer institute to provide an unparalleled educational experience including mentorship from our accomplished musicians and a supportive community where young artists develop their skills, creativity, and musical leadership.​​

Middle school and high school brass and percussion students entering grades 7-12 are encouraged to register.
