Jonathan Hood

Percussion

Jonathan Hood is a percussionist from Wylie East High School in Wylie Texas. Jonathan Has been with the Dallas Brass Band since August of 2023. He has had to the honor to preform with Philip Fisher and Greg Bissonette, During Jonathan's time at Wylie East, their marching band has competed at UIL 5A, and 6A state championship three times, and 1st at BoA regional champions twice. In 2022 The Wylie East Wind Symphony was selected to preform at Music For All’s National Festival in Indianapolis, Indiana.
 

The Wylie East Drumline has competed in numerous competitions at which were awarded Best Snareline, Best Bassline 4X, and best Front ensemble 3X. After Jonathan graduates from High school he wishes to pursue Music Education at The University of North Texas.
