The Dallas Brass Band is committed toward nurturing the next generation of brass and percussion musicians of North Texas by fostering a passion for excellence and a lifelong appreciation for the brass band tradition. To this end, the Dallas Brass Band has created the Dallas Youth Brass Band to provide an unparalleled educational experience, mentorship from our accomplished musicians, and a supportive community where young artists can develop their skills, creativity, and musical leadership. Through our devotion to artistic growth and personal development, we aim to create a vibrant and inclusive environment that celebrates and enriches the cultural fabric of our region.​​

The Dallas Youth Brass Band (DYBB) is excited to welcome students for our second youth brass band event of the year. Our November camp will consist of two days of music making in masterclasses and full band rehearsals culminating in a concert Sunday night with our youth bands and the Dallas Brass Band. Below, you will find the dates and times of our Weekend Clinic and Concert hosted at Hays Middle School:

• Rehearsal: Saturday, November 15, 2025 | 9:00am–4:00pm

• Rehearsal: Sunday, November 16, 2025 | 12:00pm–3:00pm

• Performance: Saturday, November 16, 2025 | 5:00pm

If your child may be absent from any of these rehearsals, please simply let us know. Middle school and high school students of all levels and ages are encouraged to register. We intend to have separate dedicated ensembles for middle school and high school students.

Included in students' tuition are multiple masterclasses with DFW's leading professional musician-educators.
