Adam Torres

E-flat Tuba

Adam Daniel Torres is a freelance musician and part time composer/arranger.
 

Mr. Torres possesses music performance degrees from both Texas A&M University - Commerce and Louisiana State University studying under the tutelage of Dr. Jeff Baker, Brian Davis, Dr. Ken Drobnak, Dr. Joseph Skillen, Doug Stone and Dr. Brian Shaw. 

 

As a performer, Adam has played with the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra, Sulphur Springs Symphony League, Marrowstone Festival Orchestra, and the Dallas Winds Tuba Quartet. Adam has also had the opportunity to perform alongside key artists such as Trisha Yearwood, Ben Folds, Lisette Oropesa, Owen Farr, and Bill Conti.

 

As a fledging composer/arranger, Mr. Torres has had the privilege to have his works performed in concert by the Dallas Winds and the LSU Big Band as well as works for independent game ventures and screenplays.

 

Outside of the sphere of classical music Adam can be seen pondering early 20th century artworks, playing rhythm games at the arcade; and singing in the car to somewhere new.
